Release your ‘Fears’
Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are our own fears ~Rudyard Kipling
Dear fellow soul searchers – Good morning
Do you remember yourself as a child afraid of something ? Be it the thunderstorm or an animal or simply talking in public … you are not alone and by the time you become an adult you let go of those fears – Why ? Just by knowing they don’t have the power to harm you.
Unfortunately the feeling of Fear does not leave you as an adult either and it turns into different kinds of fears. Fear of failure – Fear of Death – Fear of old age – Fear of Rejection – Fear of heights … the list goes on… Are we making sense now ? As an adult we give our fears so much power over us that they control how we operate in our day to day lives and we don’t even realize it.
Now that we are aware of the fears that controls us, its time to empower ourselves and see what our potential – no right or wrong but setting ourselves free! Think of yourselves as a beautiful garden but when you look closely what do you see ? Weeds of fears growing and destroying your garden or to the least taking up space.
Next through out the day today notice what you do when faced with fear – notice the special place you go to or action you do like mindless scrolling through you phone or you get introvert and get inside yourself ? you may not face your fear today because you know how good we are at avoiding the situation that involve it. So if you do end up – notice what is it that you do ?
Lastly, letting go of fear is similar to an old friend who no longer serves your purpose. Thank your fear for taking you where you are but its time you need to part ways from it. Meditation is my go to medicine for healing my inner child, so I will leave you with this meditation video by Rebekah Borucki
